Paine House Museum often hosts ‘clean up’ days. On these days we vacuum, dust, rearrange displays, rake, mow, pull weeds, paint, repair, organize and research collections, update archives, etc.
Members are invited to stop by any Friday Morning, May – September beginning 10:00 a.m. and lend a hand with on-going projects. Wearing face mask and maintaining a 6 foot ‘social distance’ is required.
Find a list of some ongoing projects HERE.
Thank you for your support of WRICHS and Paine House Museum
Saturday, June 27th, 10:00 a.m. to about noon
Member volunteer Donna Wedge will be at the museum working on the gardens.
She will need plenty of help weeding, edging, placing a new border, amending soil and so on.
Sun loving annuals are needed and the perennial Russian Sage would be most welcome if anyone would be interested in making a donation to the museum of these garden items.
Shade loving plants (other than hosta, which the gardens have plenty of) are also needed. Plants thinned from your garden, or purchased new are welcome for these projects.
If you are able to help in these tasks, we would very much welcome your help. Many hands make light work. Everyone should wear a face masks and keep an appropriate social distance. Please wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle if the day is sunny and warm.
Parking is in our lot across Station Street from the museum (It has been newly sealed and new lines painted!)

We look forward to seeing you soon.
