Archives

The Paine House Museum now has an Archive which is beyond measure. We are fortunate that we possess a quantity of items and information from years of collecting. WRICHS had its beginning in 1945, and has, since that time, been the custodian of so much. Now, thanks to the hard efforts of our volunteers, we have put rhyme and reason to what was  once clutter.

Dedicated as the Whipple Library, you enjoy passing an afternoon sitting with an interesting book, scrapbook, or research material.

Along with the cataloged items in the archives, we also have decades of history and articles written by historians and members collected. Some highlights are posted below.

We welcome your historical research articles, suggestions on page improvements and comments on articles posted below.

New items will be posted as they become available.
